I am so thankful for essential oils, and as I find more ways to use them, I find myself being all the more blessed by them! I wanted to share with you 7 oils that are NOT in the premium starter kit that I have found to be very beneficial for my overall wellbeing. I'm saving my favorite one for the end of the post.

I may update this list or add to it as I try out others, but these are my current thoughts. I will be interested to hear what others are your favorites!
***Remember that I am purposefully leaving out the ones in the starter kit, because it's pretty much a given that they are all already fabulous!***
Tea Tree is such a versatile oil. It can be used for soooo many different things! It's wonderful for skin care and can treat acne and skin sores. It is also an antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory. Make your own hand soap with it or use in DIY household cleaner.
I'll be honest: Cedarwood does not smell great on its own. However, it blends really well with others, and its earthiness balances out the sweetness of some other oils. It is so grounding and will help you focus as it is diffusing. I like to add 2-3 drops of it into a diffuser with 2 drops of Geranium and about 4-5 drops of Orange. It can help with ADD/ADHD symptoms. Cedarwood also helps combat hair loss! Like tea tree oil, it can be great for skin care too.
Geranium has the sweetest scent. It is amazing for women's issues such as nervous tension with PMS, and it's an anti-spasmodic so it helps with cramps. This amazing oil also improves circulation and revitalizes skin cells. Geranium balances hormones and emotions, and I have noticed it helps me feel calm and at ease when I use it topically. You'll find that a little bit goes a long way with this oil (as with most).
Grapefruit not only smells amazing, but also gives amazing results for cellulite cream! It is so tasty in water, and you can also take it in a capsule to burn fat throughout the day. I find it's very soothing and uplifting to my mood as well.
Patchouli is awesome. It feels like such a treat to add some to my shampoo, conditioner, and bath water. It makes for a relaxing spa-like experience. Patchouli helps prevent chapped skin and relieves itching. Personally I find that it helps me clear my mind when I am soaking in the tub and breathing its amazing scent.
Ylang Ylang has such a romantic scent and can help set the mood for a date night. It blends so well with many other oils. It can even regulate heartbeat. Ylang Ylang helps with anxiety, depression, and irritability. I also like to use it as a subtle perfume.
Bergamot is currently my favorite oil for a number of reasons. First off, it's super effective to reduce cortisol and lowers stress. The most amazing thing is it has been found to be comparable to diazepam (Valium) for anxiety, and friends, I have found this to be true! The effects seem to last 4-6 hours, but you can take it up to 3 times a day based on the instructions. You can take it in a capsule with some olive oil or V-6 oil from Young Living.
Another amazing thing about Bergamot is it seems to help speed up metabolism and can aid in weight loss pretty much immediately after taking it (in my experience). It is making the process a lot faster for me. During the week that I started it I lost an additional 2 pounds, but when I wasn't taking it I only lost about .5 lbs a week. Huge difference!
*Be aware that Bergamot may cause photosensitivity when out in the sun.
One more thing about Bergamot...its scent is very uplifting and functions as an antidepressant. I love diffusing it for extra relaxation, and it smells SO good.
